Our
36th Year!
What's
New for 2010!
By Dave Hamlen
Its our
36th year and we try to continually do something different
each year. You are the reason for this. We do not want Hamlens
to become stagnant, but want to make Hamlen's a fun place
for you to visit. Here are some of the things we are doing
in 2010:
1. In
the 1990's we had an advisory board made up of our customers.
This board gave us valuable insight as to how we could serve
you better. We will have a new board for 2010 and look forward
to the ideas they will share to help us improve.
2. New
seminars such as "Grapes Gone Wild" and "Don't
Bungle In The Jungle" have been added to this years list
of seminars. "Grapes Gone Wild" will focus on pruning
of small and large fruit. "Don't Bungle In The Jungle"
will give tips on how to be more successful with your plants
enabling them to grow and flourish. You can pick up a seminar
schedule at our store or online www.hamlens.com then click
on events.
3. One
big change this year will be fresh plants brought in on a
more regular basis. In the past we have ordered one large
shipment and sold from that shipment throughout the year.
Now we will be bringing fresh plants in every 7-21 days, which
means fresher plants for you. I feel you will be happier with
this change as it will allow more flexibility for plants you
may want, but are not in stock.
These
are just some of the new changes for 2010. We look forward
to seeing you and would like your feedback as to how we are
doing. In this way all our customers are advisory board members
for Hamlens.
