Heritage Birch
Are you looking for a fast growing tree of vitality and beauty? Heritage River Birch is for you! The delicate and magical appearance of a clump birch adds woodland charm to your immediate landscape. Heritage birch is a rapid growing tree with a highly decorative exfoliating bark ranging in color from cream to pale brown. When mature it tolerates humid or dry soil. It’s leaves give light shade. They are yellow and easy to manage in the fall. Birch enjoy best growth in full sun.. This birch displays good resistance to Bronze Birch Borer. Zone 3Autumn Blaze Maple

Why should you choose to plant Autumn Blaze Maple as a shade tree this spring? Autumn Blaze, a hybrid of Silver and Red Maples, grows rapidly with ascending branches. It displays drought tolerance and amenability to grow in moist soils. The ageless charm of it’s oval form and orange-red fall color make Autumn Blaze one of the best maples to plant for shade. Zone 4

RhododendronIf you just moved to Vermont and are looking for an evergreen shrub that will provide vibrant spring color in your view from your new home, P.J.M. Rhododendron, may be just what you would like. P.J.M. Rhododendron is one of the hardiest Rhododendron for this area. In the spring masses of purple flowers bloom creating a dramatic effect. All Rhododendrons require acidic soil and prefer moist, well-drained soil for best growth. Prune only if necessary after the shrub has flowered. This evergreen with glossy green foliage changing to a pleasing purple in the fall will provide a touch of spring in your garden after a long Vermont winter. Zone 4

Carol MackiePerhaps you are interested in special and decorative shrub for a cool place in your landscape. The Carol Mackie Daphne presents a coaxing collaboration of color and fragrance when blooming in May. This is a mounded semi-deciduous shrub rarely needing pruning. It’s leaves are green edged with a creamy white color remain vibrant late into the fall. Zone 3

Grandma’s BlessingGrandma’s Blessing is a new variety of Easy Elegance Rose that comes to us from Bailey’s Nurseries in Minnesota. It is a hardy disease resistant shrub rose resembling a hybrid tea, with large, full, dusty-pink blossoms. It’s beauty is so sweet Bailey’s Nurseries named it after Margaret ‘Grandma’ Bailey. Grandma’s Blessing has a symmetrical, vase-shaped form and dark-green, disease-resistant foliage. Zone 5
